I wondered if it had been left behind because it was too big. So, I wanted to modify it to make it more wearable, so I used a sewing machine and pinched and sewed it freely. (I was aiming for a design that could be worn both front and back.) The quilt around my neck was made by disassembling a scarf and layering it with wool-blend fabric. The scarf is made from sheer material. (Thank you, N-san ) I disassembled the scarf and, while listening to music, arranged it according to the instincts that arose within me at the time. Reconstructing the scarf. The quilt seems to be versatile and can be worn in many different ways depending on the wearer and their intended purpose. In that sense, quilts are incredibly versatile. Over time, fabric can become fuzzy or develop holes. Is there a way to repair these without changing the garment's shape? I wondered what would happen if I disassembled and reassembled the pieces. This quilt was born from these thoughts. I believe that disassembling and reassembling clothing might be a way to preserve fabric (materials) for a long time. I'm also fascinated by the serendipitous designs that emerge when I freely patchwork together disassembled pieces. 【NoborderARTPROJECT】 セカンドハンド（中古）のセーターをメンディングしました。昨年メンディングをしたんですが投稿しそびれていました。配色がとても素敵なウールセーター。リサイクルショップで運命的に出会ったオールドKENZO。点在していた穴が物と人の歴史を語っているようで..情緒を感じ、穴を隠す方法ではなく、むしろその痕跡を遺すようにメンディングをしました。※穴はそのまま空いてます。奇天烈ですが（個人的には）情緒があって面白いセーターが偶然生まれてとても楽しかったです。ゆったりサイズなのでメンズさんもぜひ。 [NoborderARTPROJECT] I mended a secondhand sweater. It's a wool sweater with a beautiful color scheme. It's an old KENZO sweater that I fatefully came across at a thrift store. The holes scattered throughout the sweater seemed to tell the story of the object and its owner, giving it a certain emotive quality. Rather than concealing the holes, I mended it to leave a trace of their presence. It's a bit quirky, but (in my opinion) I had a lot of fun accidentally creating a charming and interesting sweater. 【Re:bornPROJECT】 セカンドハンド（中古）のベロアトップスをメンディングしました。やや生地がくたくたしていた前後面部分に帯状にカットした布ハギレを縫い付けてみたあと、その上から線を描くようにジグザグにミシンで縫いました。ミシンを使っていると、なぜか綺麗に上手く縫おうという気持ちが生まれがちなんですが、そうゆう方向はその道のプロの方々がいらっしゃるので、私はそうゆう事を必要以上に気にせずにまずは自由に縫ってみることを楽しみたいと思っています。個人的な願望としては ..「コレ、誰が着るん？」っていう感じの衣装的なメンディングもしてみたい。ひとつずつ、願望をカタチにしていきます。 [Re:bornPROJECT] I mended a secondhand velour top. I sewed strips of fabric onto the front and back, where the fabric was a little worn, and then used a sewing machine to sew a zigzag pattern over the top. When using a sewing machine, I tend to feel the need to sew neatly and neatly, but since there are professionals in the field who can do that, I prefer to just enjoy sewing freely without worrying too much about that. 【NoborderARTPROJECT】 シャツブラウスをメンディングしました。生地に擦れのあった裾部分と首周りを中心に手を加えた今回。首元にはシェアいただいたピンク色のヒモを自由に編んで襟のようなデザインにしてみたり、くねくねにカットオフした裾の上には絞りの生地（←こちらも循環素材）でフリルをつくり縫い付けました。とても爽やかな蒼色のブラウス。眺めているうちに、何だか空の色に見えてきました。フリルは植物を模していて、刺繍をしたモチーフは実はたんぽぽの綿毛をイメージしています。イメージした風景を衣服に表現しました。今見た目はちょっと衣装的？なブラウス。今回こちらの製作をはじめたのはまだ春頃で、たびたび製作の手を止めて考えてみるという期間を経てようやく完成したのは秋。 I mended a shirt blouse. This time, I focused on the hem and neck area, where the fabric was chafed. I freely knitted the pink string that was shared with me to create a collar-like design around the neck, and I created and sewed ruffles using tie-dyed fabric (also a recycled material) onto the squiggly cut-off hem. The blouse is a very refreshing blue color. As I looked at it, it somehow began to look like the color of the sky. The ruffles resemble plants, and the embroidered motif is actually inspired by dandelion fluff. I expressed the landscape I had in mind on the garment. The blouse now looks a bit costume-like. 【Re:bornPROJECT】 メンズサイズのシャツをメンディングしました。色あせのあった首周りや袖先部分と小さなシミが点在していた後面部分をカットオフして別布のハギレでつくったフリルを縫い付けました。背中の上面部分の♡ハートモチーフは小さな点シミ部分の上からミシンを使って描きました。グレンチェックのハギレフリルはウール混の生地で少し肉厚。今回のような襟付きのシャツって、着続けていくと（特に薄色の場合）シミが目立ってきたりすることもありますよね。お手入れとして色抜きする方法もありますが、カットオフしてみる（作り替えてみる！）という選択肢があっても楽しいのでは！と思うのです。メンズサイズのシャツ。もっとRe:bornの方法ありそうだなと思ってます。実験はつづく。 I mended a men's size shirt. I cut off the faded areas around the neck and cuffs, as well as the back section, which had small stains, and sewed on a ruffle made from scraps of fabric. The heart-shaped ♡ motif on the upper back was drawn with a sewing machine over the small stains. The glen plaid scrap ruffle is made from a slightly thick wool blend fabric. With collared shirts like this one, stains tend to become more noticeable with continued wear (especially in light colors). While there are ways to remove the color for maintenance, I thought it would be fun to have the option of cutting it off (and remaking it!). Men's size shirt. I used a secondhand jacket, collaged with scraps of fabric, and embroidered with thread. The lyrics of Fujii Kaze's "Michite Yuku," which I was listening to while making this piece, kept repeating in my mind. As I listened and worked with my hands, I quietly wondered if I was wasting anything. The joy that disappears the moment you hold it in your hands. I wasted the word "love" by always chasing after such things. I wonder if I understand its true meaning now. Loving in order to be loved is a tragedy. May I bless my parched heart.

【New in.】【NoborderARTPROJECT】 循環素材の着物生地でロングベストのようなものをつくりました。着物の袖部分が無い状態だったのですが、その状態をはじめて見た時 何だかベストのみたいだな..と感じ、襟元を折り返したりポケットを付けてみたくなり手を加えてみました。フリルは透け感が素敵なハギレ生地をフリル状にミシン加工して縫い付けました。特にお気に入りなのはゴールドのポケット。ネクタイを解体してポケットをつくり 縫い付けました。解体したネクタイの生地の裏面を見てみると、なんととてもきらきらしたゴールドカラーがお目見えしました。個人的にはこの裏面の生地の色が素晴らしく素敵だなぁと思ったので、表裏両面が見えるように生地を配置してポケットをつくりました。どちらが表かどちらが裏か。”こうあるべき”的な捉え方から一度自由になってみると 案外みえてくる光景は広くて自由なのかもしれません。固定的な概念とか、当たり前は本当にこれからもずっと当たり前なのか？とか、時間に追われて考えたくない時もあるかもしれませんが、時にそよ風に揺れながら ひなたぼっこしながら考えにふけってみるのも人間ぽいなと思うのでした。 ○素材-綿 麻（フリル）シルク（ポケット）○着丈-73cm ○肩幅-37cm ○身幅-52cm ○お手入れ-ネットに入れて穏やか短時間モードで洗う。手洗いの場合は中性洗剤もしくはおしゃれ着洗い用の洗剤で優しくささっと押し洗いし脱水したのちカタチを整えてから陰干しすることをおすすめします。 [New in.] [NoborderARTPROJECT] I created something resembling a long vest using recycled kimono fabric. The kimono had no sleeves, and when I first saw it, I thought it looked a bit like a vest. So I decided to add some tweaks, like folding the collar and adding pockets. I used sheer scraps of fabric to create the ruffles, which I machine-sewed into a frilly shape. My favorite part is the gold pocket. I disassembled a tie to create the pocket and sewed it on. Looking at the back of the disassembled tie, I was surprised to see a sparkling gold color. I personally thought the color of the back was amazing, so I arranged the fabric so that both sides were visible and created the pocket. Which is the front and which is the back? Freeing yourself from the idea that things "should" be a certain way might reveal a broader and more free perspective. Are fixed concepts and common sense really going to continue to be common sense forever? There may be times when you don't want to think about it because you're pressed for time, but I think it's very human to bask in the sun and get lost in thought while swaying in the breeze. It was made of a soft, flowing linen fabric. Since the neckline showed some signs of wear, I added a ruffle. The ruffle was made by pinching scraps of fabric and sewing them with a sewing machine. It was a simple process, but that simple process resulted in a completely unexpected and cute shape. Every time I make something, I end up with a fair amount of fabric scraps, and I want to use up as many of these lovely pieces as possible. This project made me realize that scrap ruffles could be a great way to do that. 【Re:bornPROJECT】 セカンドハンド（中古）のTシャツをメンディングしました。少しタイトなサイズ感だったこともあり今回は思い切ってタンクトップへ手を加えてみたくなりました。製作に使用したロックミシンは近所のレンタル工房さんにおじゃましてお借りしました。（Mさん ありがとうございます！）いたるところがくねくねしているタンクトップ。なぜ？くねくね？と思う方もいるかもしれませんね。くねくねの理由..それは..してみたかったからです。くねくねさせてみたかった..。直線ではない縫い線が何だか自分っぽい気がしてチャレンジしてみたくなりました。 [Re:bornPROJECT] I mended a secondhand T-shirt. 【NoborderARTPROJECT】 点描のようなイラスト刺繍がちりばめられた、ちょっと肉厚な綿ワイドパンツ作品。つくし作業所（刈谷市井ケ谷町）の作家さんによる手刺繍表現です。左脚下部分に少し生地破れがあったので猪目マークをくり抜きました。くり抜きは店主おおうらによるミシン加工です。つくし作業所のみなさんとお仕事をさせていただけるようになってから、自分の内面から何かふつふつぷくぷくと湧いてくるものを感じて、ある時に私自身も手を動かしてみたい！という気持ちが弾けて現在に至ります。つくし作業所のみなさんには人の暮らしに少なからず影響を及ぼす熱量というか不思議な作用があるんじゃないかと私は思ったりしています。これが、アートの作用のひとつ？でもあるのかな？と思ったり。 くり抜いた猪目マークには意味が有ります。良かったら、調べてみてください。 ○素材-綿○ウエスト-36cm ○股上-27cm ○股下-62cm ○裾幅-27cm ○セカンドハンド（中古）に手を加えた作品です。 ○お手入れ-刺繍部分のひっかかりに注意して裏返してからネットに入れて穏やか短時間モードで洗う。手洗いの場合は中性洗剤もしくはおしゃれ着洗い用の洗剤で優しくささっと手洗いし脱水したのちカタチを整えてから陰干しすることをおすすめします。 [NoborderARTPROJECT] These are slightly thick cotton wide-leg pants studded with pointillist-like embroidered illustrations. They're hand-embroidered by the artists at Tsukushi Workshop (Igaya-cho, Kariya City). There was a small tear in the fabric at the bottom of the left leg, so a boar's eye mark was carved out. The cutout was machine-sewn by the shop owner, Ooura. Since I began working with the Tsukushi Workshop, I've felt something bubbling up inside me, and at one point, I felt a sudden desire to try my hand at it! That feeling has continued to this day. I believe the Tsukushi Workshop members have a mysterious power, a kind of passion, that has a significant impact on people's lives. Perhaps this is one of the effects of art? I wonder. 【Re:bornPROJECT】セカンドハンド（中古）のタンクトップと循環素材のネクタイや布ハギレを使って不思議なタンクトップを製作しました。前も後ろもないのでお好きなように組合せて着てみてください。タンクトップって着続けていると肩や脇部分がくたくたになりがちですよね。今回は肩脇から上の部分をカットオフして筒状になった状態からネクタイをどんなふうに繋げるか、をとても考えました。ネクタイはなるべくネクタイだと分かるような状態で繋ぎ合わせたいなぁという小さなこだわりもありました。繋ぎ合わせていくうちに、好きな色・素材・形が密集されていき、製作しながらその密集スポットを眺めるのがとても楽しかったです。次回はネクタイのみを使ったre:bornにもチャレンジしてみたいです。 ○素材-綿・シルク ○身幅-34cm やや収縮性のある生地です。○肩紐-16cm ○お手入れ-デニム部分やネクタイから色が出る可能性があるので洗濯ネットに入れて短時間モードで優しく洗う。手洗いの場面は中性洗剤またはおしゃれ着用洗剤で優しく押し洗い後脱水し陰干し。長時間の浸け置き洗いはおすすめしません。 [Re:born PROJECT] I created a unique tank top using a secondhand tank top, ties made from recycled materials, and fabric scraps. It has no front or back, so you can mix and match however you like. Tank tops tend to get worn out around the shoulders and sides after constant wear. This time, I cut off the top from the shoulders and sides, leaving a tube-like shape, and I put a lot of thought into how to connect the tie. I also had a small preference for connecting the tie in a way that made it as recognizable as possible. As I connected the pieces, my favorite colors, materials, and shapes began to come together, and it was so much fun to watch the dense spots as I made it. 【New in.】【NoborderARTPROJECT】 セカンドハンド（中古）の夏向きニットをメンディングしました。五分袖だったニット。両袖部分にシミが付いていたので思い切ってカット。前後にあったほつれ箇所は、カットオフした袖部分の生地を使い上から縫い付けました。絵を描くように、黄色のミシン糸でくねくねの線を（縫い）描きました。今回はすべてミシン製作。ニットをつくりかえてみることを考える際、カットオフした後の生地端の処理をどうしよう？はじぶんのなかで大きな課題でした。今回はその課題に向き合いながら製作チャレンジ。業務用ミシンはもちろん持ち合わせていないので、母から引き継いだ家庭用のミシンの既存の縫い設定を使って、端の処理を試みました。手縫いが好きなじぶんにとっては、ミシンの音や高速で動く針の動きも何だか地に足がついていない感じはあるのですが、手縫いではやっぱり難しい端の処理ができたりすることは文明の利器って、、素晴らしいな..と感じた今回でした。つくりかえたい対象（素材）によって道具を使い分けることで表現や仕上がりの幅も変わる。そんなことを考える良い機会でした。ミシンの製作チャレンジは続く。 ○素材-レーヨン・コットン・アクリル・ナイロン ○肩幅-30cm ○着丈-39cm ○身幅-42cm ○お手入れ-ネットに入れて穏やか短時間モードで洗う。手洗いの場合は、中性洗剤もしくはおしゃれ着洗い用洗剤で優しく押し洗いしカタチを整えてから陰干しすることをおすすめします。 ○着用イメージは、Instagramに動画投稿しています。よろしければ覗いてみてください。

The shape of the scraps was cute, so I sewed it on as it was, and moved the needle without thinking too much, as if I was drawing a picture, and this is what I came up with. Looking closely, I also like the fact that it is not rectangular. A neat shape is nice, but I think that an irregular shape is also cute. How you use it is up to you. It would be fun to lay it on a table or picnic sheet, and it could also be used to wrap lunch boxes, books, or other things, and you could even make a bag or a dress from it. 【Noborder ART PROJECT】 セカンドハンドのリネンブラウスをメンディングしました。首周りが広いデザインだったのでブラウスに襟をつくる感覚で手織り布のハギレを縫い付けました。今回縫い付けたハギレは、愛知県豊田市に工房を構える ORiiBU（オリーブ）さんのもの。さをり織りの布を製作されています。以前工房を見学させていただいた際に、作家さんが昔ながらの織り機で真剣に大切にじぶんを表現するように織られている様子がとても印象的でした。何かをつくったあとに出てしまったさまざまな色かたちのハギレ。どれも宝石のように綺麗で個性のあるハギレ。その個性をできる限り活かしたくてなるべくカットせず縫い付けました。製作中は「Asian Dream Song」という曲を繰り返し聴いていました。目と耳から受けた印象を針を運ぶことでじぶんなりに表現したのですが、とても面白かったです。 ○ブラウス素材-麻 ○ハギレ素材-綿 ○肩幅-38cm ○袖長さ-40cm ○着丈-前面47cm・背面57cm ○身幅-55cm （Aライン） ○特徴-袖部分を結ぶことができるような既存デザインで、とても可愛いです。 ○お手入れ-手洗いまたはネットに入れて優しく洗い、カタチを整えてから陰干しすることをおすすめします。 ※Instagramも気ままに更新しています。お気軽に覗いてみてください。@ki_ssa_ko2022 I mended a second-hand linen blouse. The neckline was wide, so I sewed on some hand-woven fabric scraps as if I was making a collar. The scraps I sewed on this time were from "mateini," a company with a workshop in Toyota City. They make Saori-woven fabric. When I had the opportunity to visit their workshop before, I was very impressed by the way the artist was weaving on an old-fashioned loom with great care and seriousness, as if expressing himself. The scraps were of various colors and shapes that were left over after making something. They were all beautiful and unique, like jewels. I wanted to make the most of their individuality, so I sewed them on without cutting them as much as possible. I listened to the song "Asian Dream Song" over and over while I was making it. I expressed the impressions I had received from my eyes and ears in my own way by moving the needle, and it was very interesting.
