多目的な布。

包んだり巻いたり敷いたりできるような多目的な布を製作しました。不思議な紋様は、以前製作に使用した際に生まれた各種の布ハギレの形を活かし縫い付けています。丸い形の紋様は、解体したTシャツからヨーヨーキルトをつくるためにカットしていた布を使用しました。サイズは約68cm×70cm。手を動かしながら感じたことは、わたしは色・素材・形とか紋様が好きなんだなぁということ。実際に手（身体）を動かしてみると気付くことはたくさんありますね。今回製作した布は、お弁当や野菜や本などを包んだり、芝生やテーブルの上に敷いたり、三角形にして顔や首元に巻いてみたりもできそうです。どなたかの製作の材料として使用してもらうのもうれしいです。皆さんの暮らし方に合わせて、楽しく使ってもらえたらいいなぁと思っています。
I made a multipurpose cloth that can be used for wrapping, rolling, and laying. The strange patterns are sewn using the shapes of various scraps of cloth that were created when I used it in previous productions. The round patterns are made from cloth that I had cut from disassembled T-shirts to make yo-yo quilts. The size is about 68cm x 70cm. As I moved my hands, I realized that I like colors, materials, shapes, and patterns. There are many things you notice when you actually move your hands (body). The cloth I made this time can be used to wrap lunch boxes, vegetables, books, etc., to lay on the grass or a table, or to make a triangle and wrap it around your face or neck.
