Usedのデニムジャケットに手を加えてみました。今回のデニムジャケットはたびたび通っていたリサイクルショップの閉店セールで出会ったもの。全体的に状態の良いものだったので手を加えるかどうか考えました..が、今回は背中に大きな花を咲かせてみたくなり、、ハギレでキルティング風の花びらを作り縫い付けました。花びら部分はふっくらさせたかったので中に同布のハギレを刻んで入れて厚みを出しています。デニムにタータンチェックを合わせるちょっとファンキーな感じが個人的には好きです。154cmの私が羽織ると腕周りや着丈はゆったりとした雰囲気になります。

I gave a secondhand denim jacket a makeover. I found this denim jacket at a closing-down sale at a thrift shop I frequented. It was in good overall condition, so I considered altering it...but this time, I wanted to create a large flower blooming on the back, so I created quilted-style petals out of scraps and sewed them on. I wanted the petals to look fuller, so I carved scraps of the same fabric inside to add thickness. I personally like the slightly funky feel of combining denim with tartan check. At 154cm tall, it feels loose around the arms and in the length.

◆お手入れ-ネットに入れて穏やか短時間モードで洗う。手洗いの場合は中性洗剤もしくはおしゃれ着洗い用の洗剤で優しくささっと押し洗いし脱水したのちカタチを整えてから陰干しすることをおすすめします。
