セカンドハンド（中古）のニットスカートとセーターを解体してパッチワークキルトを作りました。マフラーのように首に巻いたり肩に掛けたりスカートや袈裟のように身体に巻いたり .. 使う人や用途に応じていろいろ変化しそうなキルト。キルトって、そうゆう意味ではとても懐の広い存在ですね。永く着続けることで徐々に生地が毛羽立ったり穴が空いてしまったりすることがありますが、衣服としてのかたちを変えずに修繕する方法以外での方法って、、あるかな、、、？解体して繋げてみたらどうなるかな、、？と自分なりに考えて手を動かしてみて生まれたものが今回のキルトです。衣服を解体して繋げることで生地（素材）を永く使うという方法もひとつあっていいかもしれないなぁと考えていたりします。解体したパーツを気ままにパッチワークしていく先に生まれる偶然のデザインにも惹かれていて面白さを感じています。解体パッチワークはしばらくつづきそうです。

○素材-ウール カシミアなど
○size-150cm×50cm
○お手入れ-ネットに入れて穏やか短時間モードで洗う。手洗いの場合は中性洗剤もしくはおしゃれ着洗い用の洗剤で優しくささっと押し洗いし脱水したのちカタチを整えてから陰干しすることをおすすめします。
余談:今回の製作中は玉置浩二さんの「田園」を何度も聴いていました。「ファンファーレ」も好きです。みなさんの好きな歌はなんですか？

I disassembled a secondhand knit skirt and sweater to create a patchwork quilt. It can be worn around the neck like a scarf, draped over the shoulders, or wrapped around the body like a skirt or robe. The quilt seems to be versatile and can be worn in many different ways depending on the wearer and their intended purpose. In that sense, quilts are incredibly versatile. Over time, fabric can become fuzzy or develop holes. Is there a way to repair these without changing the garment's shape? I wondered what would happen if I disassembled and reassembled the pieces. This quilt was born from these thoughts. I believe that disassembling and reassembling clothing might be a way to preserve fabric (materials) for a long time. I'm also fascinated by the serendipitous designs that emerge when I freely patchwork together disassembled pieces. I think I'll continue making disassembled patchwork pieces for a while.
